Pokud byste si chtěli Palm pořídit, je to trochu problém. Palm je totiž aktuálně v prodeji pouze v 5 zemích.
V USA jej exkluzivně nabízí pouze Verizon, a to vázaně k stávajícímu kontraktu, kdy oba telefony spojí pod jedno číslo a ke kontraktu přidá cca 10 USD měsíčně za službu spojení. Cena telefonu kolísá mezi 200 a 350 USD podle toho, zda je zrovna nějaká akce a také podle toho, zda se chcete Verizonu uvázat na 2 roky. Nedotovaný telefon je sice teoreticky možné koupit, ale pouze s kontraktem. Bez něj telefon neprodají.
V Evropě je telefon možné exkluzivně zakoupit u Vodafonu DE, ES a UK. Telefon prodávají jako samostatný telefon, není vázaný k číslu hlavního telefonu, a cena se odvíjí od tarifu, ke kterému se upíšete už od 1 EUR. Bez dotace pak telefon stojí od 359 do 400 EUR.
V Hong Kongu je možné Palm exkluzivně zakoupit u operátora Three, žel na jeho stránkách se mi opravdu nepodařilo dohledat ani cenu, ani podmínky.
Společnost Palm prozatím nenabízí prodej Palmu napřímo, není tedy možné si jej jednoduše objednat přímo u Palmu, zaplatit a těšit se na pošťáka Pata s balíčkem, ale třeba jednou…d8-D
