Palm announced Unlocked Palm phone presale today

Palm Inc. announced today they start presale of unlocked Palm phone:

We’re excited to announce that you can now pre-order an unlocked Palm standalone smartphone through Palm.com. Starting today, customers who pre-order a standalone device will not only get free shipping, but will also get a free Palm Leather Case with neck and wrist lanyards.

What do we mean by “unlocked”? Essentially, we are now selling Palm standalone smartphone on Palm.com. This unlocked Palm will be available for customers in the United States only, and can be used with most major carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and MetroPCS.*

Customers who take advantage of a presale option will for the U$349.99 receive the unlocked Palm phone with the latest software release, and also an original U$30 Palm Leather Case with neck and wrist lanyards in addition. The expected delivery date is August 2019.

For EU customers there is no change and Palm could be bought in DE, SP, and UK from Vodafone and Movistar (only in Spain).
