Palm co. has also begun to communicate its Palm phone on the corporate site and Twitter as a smartphone for kids, and when it comes around and around, it makes sense.

The device itself is thanks to dimensions very well-controlled by kids, fits well into the children’s pocket, is water and dust resistant, and gives parents the ability to track the position of the phone and the time spent on the display.

For me it is ok, perhaps only the price of equipment could be more favorable…

Společnost Palm začala komunikovat svůj Palm phone na firemním webu i na Twitteru také jako chytrý telefon pro děti a když se to vezme kolem a kolem, rozhodně to dává smysl.

Zařízení samotné se díky svým rozměrům dětem velmi dobře ovládá, vejde se i do dětské kapsy, je odolné vůči vodě a prachu a rodičům poskytuje funkce pro sledování pozice telefonu i času stráveného nad displejem.

Za mne je to ok, snad jen cena zařízení by mohla být příznivější...

Japonsko je 6.zemí, kde se prodává Palm! Po Spojených státech, Spojeném království, Německu, Španělsku a Hong Kongu začal v tomto týdnu prodej Palmů i v Japonsku.

Na webu Caseplay.jp se Palm prodává za cenu ¥44 801, což je v přepočtu cca 9 193 Kč. Kromě telefonu je v nabídce i originální Palm Lanyard case a kryt Kate Spade Flexible Hardshell case za ¥3 801 (783 Kč) a dámská kabelkopeněženka Wristlet for Palm Phone od Kate Spade za ¥7 344 (1 514 Kč).

Japan is the 6th Country where Palm is selling! After the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and Hong Kong, this week, Palm sales began in Japan.

The website Caseplay.jp is selling Palm phone for ¥44,801, which is approximately U$402. In addition to the phone, the original Palm Lanyard case and Kate Spade Flexible Hardshell case for ¥3,801 (U$34) and Wristlet for Palm by Kate Spade for ¥7,344 (U$66) are also available.

Palm today announced that Verizon would start selling Palm as a standalone phone today without having to tie up with the existing telephone and even cheaper for $ 199. Also, a 50% discount should be on the accessories.

Also, Palm said it was working to improve cameras, including HDR, color balance and shooting in low light conditions, as well as improving battery life.

So it looks like we have something to look forward…d8-D

Palm dnes informoval, že Verizon ode dneška začne s prodejem Palmu jako samostatného telefonu bez nutnosti svázání se stávajícím telefonem a dokonce i levněji, za U$199. O 50% zleněné má být také příslušenství.

Kromě toho Palm informoval, že pracuje na vylepšení kamer včetně HDR, vyvážení barev a focení při horších světelných podmínkách, a také na vylepšení výdrže baterie.

Vypadá to tedy, že se máme na co těšit...d8-D
