Installation

The installation is straightforward but not so easy to handle on the first try without watching the video tutorial. So if you want to save the disappointment of a badly-glued film, take a moment to watch this video, save one screen protector, time and nerves.

The film has a precise dimension and is very easy to handle during installation. No special tools are needed, and everyone can do it.

Use

The film is highly transparent, and I've never noticed it interfering with the display in any way. The touch is natural, very good to the screen, responses are instantaneous, and I have not even noticed a problem with drier skin or skin damaged by work in the garden.

Resistance

The film should be relatively durable, and the manufacturer gives it an outstanding warranty. But I can say for myself that after more than two months of use, my film is virtually new to the display except for the place where the metal braid cord is from the original Palm leather case. Nevím jak vy, ale já mám rád svá zařízení jako nová a proto důsledně používám ochranné kryty, ochranná skla a nebo fólie, aby taková doopravdy dlouho vydržela. Proto jsem si pořídil pro svůj Palm jednu z ochranných fólií, které jsou v nabídce na Amazonu, Supershieldz Screen Protector, High Definition Clear Shield.

Podle informace od výrobce jde o ochrannou fólii vyrobenou z vysoce kvalitního japonského PET filmu umožňujícího snadnou instalaci a nezanechávající zbytky po odstranění. Film je vysoce transparentní a poskytuje maximální rozlišení, Real Touch Sensitivity pak poskytuje přirozený pocit a bezchybnou přesnost dotykového ovládání. Chrání obrazovku před každodenními škrábanci, prachem a poškrábáním. Jaká je ale skutečnost?

Instalace

Instalace je skutečně jednoduchá, ale ne tak jednoduchá, aby se to dalo dobře zvládnout na první pokus bez shlédnutí video návodu. Pokud si tedy chcete ušetřit zklamání z opravdu ošklivě nalepené fólie, najděte si chvilku a shlédněte toto video, ušetříte si 1 fólii i čas a nervy.

Fólie má přesný rozměr a velmi dobře se s ní při instalaci manipuluje. Není potřeba žádných speciálních nástrojů a zvládne to opravdu každý.

Použití

Fólie je skutečně vysoce transparentní a nikdy jsem nezaznamenal, že by mě na displeji jakkoliv rušila, překážela. Dotyk je skutečně přirozený, velmi dobře se přenáší na displej, odezvy jsou okamžité a nezaznamenal jsem ani problém s dotykem sušší pokožkou či pokožkou poškozenou prací na zahradě.

Odolnost

Fólie by měla být poměrně odolná a výrobce na ni dává velmi dobrou záruku. Za sebe ale mohu říct, že po více než 2 měsících používání je moje fólie na displeji prakticky jako nová s výjimkou místa, kde na displeji bývá kovový spoj smotané šňůrky z originálního koženého pouzdra Palm. Viz obrázek. V tomto místě došlo k lehkému poškrábání fólie, které je viditelné proti světlu při vypnutém displeji.

Závěr

Fólii Supershieldz mohu doporučit, pokud jste smířeni s tím, že ji budete cca jednou za 1/4 roku měnit. V balení je za velmi dobrou cenu U$5,99 hned 6 kusů, takže vám vydrží poměrně dlouho. Mějte ale na paměti, že to není ochranné sklo a že by tedy neměla přijít do styku s klíči, mincemi, apod.

Během víkendu jsem se byl po dlouhé rekonvalescenci proběhnout. Bylo to zároveň také poprvé, co jsem se byl proběhnout s Palm phonem a musím říct, že to bylo super hned z několika důvodů.

Aby mi Palm nevyklouzl při fotografování během běhu ze zpocené  ruky, použil jsem pro ultraodolný Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. I s tímto krytem nemá Palm více než 92g a já nemusel mít obavy, zda se mi telefon nerozbije, pokud by mi přeci jen z ruky vypadl.

Vzhledem k velikosti Palmu to bylo také poprvé, co se mi telefon vešel do kapsy u trenýrek a zároveň mi je nestahoval dolů.

Kapsy u běžeckého oblečení jsou navíc velmi malé, ale Palm phone se i do takové pidikapsičky vešel.

Navíc se zapnutým #LifeMode jsem si mohl užít běh i bez toho, aby mě někdo rušil, protože když je displej telefonu zhasnutý, znamená to, že nechci telefonovat, ale třeba právě běžet.

Zkrátka Palm phone je ideální telefon pro běžce, který chce mít u sebe pro všechny případy telefon, ale nechce sebou táhnout tablet…d8-D
