SOFTWARE: Oprava problému s baterií u Palm Treo 680

Jak jsem vás již dříve informoval, u Palm Treo 680 se vyskytl problém s rychle se vybíjející baterií po použití vestavěné kamery. Společnost Palm konečně uveřejnila malý update, který problém řeší. Doporučuji všem majitelům Trea 680 nainstalovat si jej.

Stejný problém lze ale úspěšně vyřešit i jinak. Murray Alexander tento problém vyřešil takto:

Crikey, camera updaters here, reset fixes there and now dodgy charging cradles. What are we all to make of this 680 battery lark?

Well, I have not used my treo since Wednesday lunchtime and it has been sitting with the SIM card out and the phone off and on standby and the battery level is at 87%. This is without any of the „fixes“.

I'm still certain it's something to do with the sim card…if the sim card is left in even with the phone off it still drains quickly. With the sim out…very little drainage.

Of course the slight drawback to all of this is that you can't use the treo as a phone/email etc…which, admittedly, is a bit of a problem! Still, makes for a decent organiser…
