O existenci komunikátoru HTC Omni, resp. o plánech na jeho uvedení v tomto roce, už všichni víte z článku NEOFICIÁLNĚ: Nové modely společnosti HTC – HTC Omni, HTC Kaiser, HTC Panda, HTC Elf, HTC Wings a navrch ještě jeden nepojmenovaný model. Dnes italský server SoloPalmari.com uveřejnil článek obsahující další technické údaje tohoto zařízení:

According to several rumors, Omni had been set aside by HTC in favour of other models. We have however received infos from an undisclosed source from abroad, that HTC Omni exists, and has unprecetended features for a PDA phone.

The most striking feature of Omni is the four inch display, with 800×480 pixels resolution: almost a full PC screen! The form factor will be similar to the Universal, but slimmer and > lighter. It might have an external second display, dedicated to phone functions.

SoloPalmari has no official confirmation of the features just reported. The image is a simple mockup, by which SoloPalmari tries to „guestimate“ the form factor of the new device.
